Alexandra "Alex" Chidiac was born in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1999. Chidiac is one of the most promising midfielders in Australian women's football. So much so, Spanish giant Club Atlético de Madrid Femenino signed her on 13 July 2018. A dream move to the Primera División Femenina for the girl who debuted in the W-League for Adelaide United, aged 15.
Chidiac has represented Australia at Under-17 and Under-20 level, and has 17 caps for the Matildas - her first at age 16, coming on as a substitute for Lisa De Vanna in a win over New Zealand. She has twice been awarded the Professional Footballers Australia Young Women's Footballer of the Year, and won a championship with Melbourne City.
This design celebrates a prodigious Australian talent.
