Australia's Ange Postecoglou guided Japanese club side, Yokohama F. Marinos, to the 2019 J1 League championship in style. Postecoglou became the first Australian coach to achieve such a feat, with Yokohama breaking a 15-year league title drought by beating FC Tokyo 3-0 in the final match of the season. Postecoglou joined Yokohama in late 2017, after stepping down as coach of Australia. He finished 12th in the league in his first season in charge. A season later, his attacking and expansive football would see his side secure the title. He is a two-time champion with South Melbourne in the National Soccer League (1997/1998 and 1998/1999) and back-to-back A-League champion with Brisbane Roar (2010/2011 and 2011/2012). His international success is equally impressive, as he lifted the AFC Asian Cup in 2015 in charge of the Socceroos. Postecoglou sits proudly at the summit of coaching in Australia. This design features the Japanese text for "title holder" or "champion" with the club's colours highlighting Postecoglou's journey from Melbourne to Yokohama airports.
