The 1974 Socceroos were truly the game's pioneers. The tournament in West Germany was Australia's first-ever at a time when only 16 teams participated. Hamburg was the scene, where a "bunch of kangaroos" took on the world's best.

Young coach, Rale Rasic, started Jack Reilly, Doug Utjesenovic, Peter Wilson, Manfred Schaefer, Col Curran, Ray Richards, Jimmy Rooney, Jim Mackay, Johnny Warren, Branko Buljevic and Adrian Alston. Rasic made no substitutions in the first match.

This item was designed for the Australian football diehard.
